Information stored on your device
Gratuity AE stores calculation inputs, recent calculations, saved scenarios, and app settings locally on your device. This local data is used to reopen previous estimates and preserve your preferences.
Gratuity AE does not require an account and does not provide server sync for the core calculator experience.
Information Gratuity AE does not collect directly
Gratuity AE does not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone data, payment information, or government identifiers for the core calculator experience.
Advertising
Gratuity AE uses Google AdMob to show ads. Google and its partners may process device information, advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and related data to provide, measure, and improve advertising.
On iOS, Gratuity AE may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing access to the advertising identifier for personalized ads and ad measurement.

Consent and advertising choices
Depending on your region, Google or the app may request consent for personalized advertising or related processing. You can also control advertising identifiers and ad personalization choices through your device settings and Google settings where available.
If you deny App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, Gratuity AE can still show ads without sending the IDFA in the ad request.
Sharing
If you use the share feature, Gratuity AE creates plain text summary content and sends it to the operating system share sheet. You choose where to send that content.
Data sharing
Gratuity AE does not sell local calculation data. Local calculation data remains on your device unless you choose to share it. Advertising-related data may be processed by Google AdMob and its partners as described above.
Data retention
Local app data remains on your device until you reset local data in the app settings or uninstall the app. Advertising-related retention is handled by Google and its partners according to their policies.
Data deletion
You can delete local app data by using the reset local data option inside the app settings, or by uninstalling the app from your device.
Security
Gratuity AE is designed as a local-first app and does not operate an account server for calculator data. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but the app limits core calculator storage to your device.
International processing
Because Gratuity AE uses Google AdMob, advertising-related data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence by Google, its affiliates, and advertising partners.
Legal and financial disclaimer
Gratuity AE provides estimates for planning purposes only. It does not provide legal, employment, or financial advice. Final entitlements should be confirmed with official UAE labour rules, employer records, contract terms, or qualified professional support.
Children
Gratuity AE is not directed to children and is intended for employment-related calculation use.
